2025 USGAA Junior B Hurling Champions An iconic Irish cultural celebration, Hurling is over 3,000 years old and combines skills from lacrosse, field hockey, and baseball. It is a stick (hurley) and ball (sliotar) game, played by teams (of 7, 13, or 15) on a rectangular grass pitch with H-shaped goals at each end. The primary object is to score by putting the ball

over the bar for a point or driving the ball through the goal for three points. Irish teams play 15 a side, whereas most teams in America will play 13 a side.

The Pub League championship is this Sunday! Can the Doughboys win after entering the playoffs as the 4 seed? Or will Makeshift Dynamite repeat as champions?

Afterwards, head over to and grab a drink, maybe one with a team representing it. We won’t be having a formal after party like we do in the fall, but it’s still a great time to grab a drink to celebrate a successful pub league season.
