Kenz and her family are great people, any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Venom Families:

It has taken me some time to write this email because I've struggled to put this into words. A very important family to Venom has experienced a tragedy none of us could fathom. The Young Family has lost their home in a fire. This family of six is well known within our hockey community. Jim is a board member, a dedicated coach, and a friend to us all. He can be seen keeping our facilities in good shape, working on the dek, and most often taking on any equipment malfunction that any player may have. The kids all know it's Jim you call when you need an adjustment.

Mackenzie is an outstanding player and role model. She's been with Venom since its establishment and made a name for herself in the Women's world, being named twice to USA teams.

The remaining family members have continuously helped out and been extremely dedicated volunteers. Lori, especially, has spent countless hours in concession stand and photographed many a player for no charge. This family has always been willing to step up and help in any way needed. Now, they need us.

The family will not be able to return to their home and most of their posessions have been lost. Please consider donating to help get them back on their feet. We will be collecting cash, check, venmo, and paypal donations. If sending Venmo (Venom-BallHockey) Paypal ([email protected]), please put "Young Family Donation" in the subject line. We can collect all cash and check payments at the inhouse games this week or on Thursday. Thursday, I will be at the dek from 6-9pm to collect any donations, monetarily or clothing. Below, you can find a list of clothing sizes for the family.



Mackenzie - shirt size medium, pant size 10, medium, or 32 waist, shoe size 7

Madison - shirt size lg/xl, pant size 16 or 38 waist, shoe size 7

Jim - shirt size xl, pants 36x32L, shoe size 8.5 or 9

Mrs. Young - shirt size xxl or 20, pants size xl or 18

Mr. Young - shirt size xl, pant size, lg or 38x29L

Lori - shirt size xl/xxl or 18-20, pant size xl or 16-18, shoe size 8
