HEY Loonies,

If this isn’t the most exciting pre-season you have had in years – your nuts!

We finally have put together some great trades and some spending on free agents and all around upgrading of our Pirates.

We just acquired 2 MLB All Stars and a rookie who hit 296 last year to add to our lineup. We also will have either early or later this year the number 1 prospect in all of baseball-Konner Griffin joining the Pirate lineup that will make all those(34) 1 run losses last year forgettable. I can’t wait to follow this years’ Bucco’s on their journey to the playoffs. There are limited tix(but we still have a lot) available this year because of the excitement around the team. When you send in your tix request I will respond to you to let you know you have your seats. I won’t be sending them out till about 2 weeks before the opener as they won’t print them before.

Looking forward to seeing everybody on Opening Day -the Greatest Day of theYear!!!!
We will be entertained by Dr Zoot again this year -who were a huge hit last year!Dr Zoot

HEY LOONIES,

Pirate pitchers/catchers report ,now it’s time for the Left Field Loonies to report. How many are coming to the Opener Tailgate Party.
Once again ,we will be raising money for Pirate Charities and Pirate Alumni Charities (new this year). The Miracle Fields is once again, the Loonies designated charity. To date the Loonies ,with your help, have raised over $70,000 for this charity. Bring some cash to buy raffle tix to win Pirate memorabilia and other exciting prizes.

Hey Left Field Loonies ,
The Yankees are coming! The Pirates youngsters are playing some good ball -hanging tough against the top teams in the league.
Come out and watch them match up against the New York Yankees.
We will be doing a little different tailgate this time around. You will notice there are 2 attachments on the email .
1 is for Saturday Sept 16 and 1 is for Sunday Sept 17. Both tailgates will be on the Allegheny River riverwalk below PNC Park.
Fill out 1 or both dates -they will be sellouts -so this is a great opportunity to get tickets and help Pirate Charities.
You can send in one envelope.
On Saturday there will be food – beverages-music -raffles and a Loonie gift.
On Sunday there will be snax-beverage - music-raffles and a Loonie gift.
Pass the flyer on to friends and family and lets’ have a good time and help The Miracle Fields.

LAST CALL

Hey Loonies ,
It’s time for the Left Field Loonie Luau on Sat July 29th vs the Phillies at 7:05.
We will once again have food-music- age appropriate beverages-Loonie Gift -raffles -David Bednar Bobblehead at the ballpark and lots of fun.

Make sure you invite your friends and family and lets enjoy a nice day tailgating and a nice evening at the ballpark rooting for our Bucco’s.
As you know we raise money for Miracle Fields through the Pirate Charities with our tailgates -so come one come all.

Hey Loonies,

Hope everyone had a great off season – time to think about the Pirate Opener and the boys of summer.

I’m so excited about 2023 and the Buccos’. For the 1st time in years, we had a great offseason and the hope of following it up with an equally good baseball season. I’m very excited for the return of Cutch and the possibility of seeing more of him in left field. What a story this could be. So after some good veteran acquisitions this winter and the maturing of our young and upcoming stars, we are poised for a fun year. If everything falls in place we could be watching some meaningful baseball in September.
Don’t miss out on welcoming “Cutch” home. Once again ,we will be raising money for Pirate Charities. We have raised over $55,000 for the Miracle Fields thru Pirate Charities.

Hey Loonies

Its time for the Loonie Luau on July 30 vs the hated Phillies. It is also Fireworks Night.
The young Pirates are making the league take notice. They are exciting to watch once again.

Hello Left Field Loonies,

Welcome to spring!! It’s been a long winter and now it looks like a long spring. Hopefully we are going to get a deal done between MLB and the Players.
When they do, there will be an Opening Day! I’ve been in Bradenton anxiously awaiting some spring training games. Maybe in a week or 2.

So the OPENER will be Tuesday April 12th at 4:12. THE TAILGATE WILL START AT 12:30 AND GO TILL 3:30. If it changes again the flyer will be good for whatever date it is played . You can go ahead and order your seats and tailgate and cancel up to 2 weeks before the game and I’ll refund your money -after 2 weeks before I won’t be able to as tickets and tailgate and gifts will have already been paid for.

Looking forward to what I thought was going to be a normal season-not this year- and seeing everyone again . if you have any questions feel free to call or email me. This year I have added another form of payment (VENMO) as my kids made me get into the 21st century.

Even though we had an off year we were able to donate $1500 + to Pirate Charities to take us up over $50,000 in donations. Thanks for your support!
