Are you close to your period? Because water retention is real and it will make that number go up even when you did everything right.
You mentioned chipotle for lunch and that it was salty. Water follows salt. Thatâs not fat.
Are you sore from your workouts? Muscles hold onto water when theyâre repairing. Also not fat.
Have you gone to the bathroom today? The scale weighs everything thatâs in your body â food, water, waste, bones, muscles, organs. Not just fat. All of it.âšâšSo the scale went up, but if you keep going, it will also go back down.
One data point doesnât cancel a good week. But quitting does.
