At Oom Yung Doe, we believe there is so much more to the human condition. Physically, students gain speed, power, control, and coordination. Mentally, you'll learn patience, respect, confidence, and determination. Our unique 4 level system of instruction offers students 4 different and complimentary ways to develop their condition. Local instructors help students set and reach their personal goals through the 8 martial arts curriculum in the daily group classes and personalized instruction. Regional instructors show how to link the curriculum movements together, offering a deeper wisdom and understanding of the human condition. National Instructors take a students understanding even further and can explain how to digest, understand and apply what they have learned to reality and actual situations. The Master Level Teaching team teaches at the highest level of understanding. Having a combined 150 years of teaching experience, and having learned directly from Grandmaster "Iron" Kim, students learn how to make movements fit their body type through personal instruction. This is the fastest way to develop internally and externally and make the movement ‘part of you’. Students at any level can benefit greatly from a lesson from the MLT Team while helping them to absorb all other levels of their training much faster. This is done through Chun Dan Hyungs, Chun Joon Hyungs, and other high level training, including Personal Coaching. Oom Yung Doe is a line of traditional martial arts dating back thousands of years and was brought to this country by Grandmaster ‘Iron’ Kim.
