Show #2 done! Beyond proud of the shape I’ve built and the improvements I’ve made since my last show!

Second call outs for this show but, I know what I need to do to improve. This sport will chew you up and spit you out if you let it. But, it’s all about dusting yourself off and getting back to work. Huge shoutout to all of my friends, family and coach for supporting me and pushing me, I couldn’t have done this without each one of you.

1. Start out slow, make small changes like increasing your water intake rather than going from 0-100.
2. Set long term and short term goals. Ask yourself your “why”. Why are you doing this? Attach your goals to it.
3. Motivation will not always be there. This is where discipline comes in. Do it tired, do it hungry, just do it. Your future self will thank you.
4. If it was easy everyone would do it. Surround yourself with people that support you and don’t put you down.

A little Tuesday to remind me of how far I’ve come. The girl in the second picture was lost and lonely. She feared failure and let it hold her back. She was uncomfortable in her skin.

She would be damn proud of the woman I am now. I embrace failure, I am secure in my own skin and make an active effort to build others up, and I pursue my passion everyday.

What changed?
I had enough of my own s**t. I woke up everyday and worked on myself for myself. I made a conscious effort to stop negative self talk. I did it even when I didn’t feel like it. It took time and it took patience. But it can be done, and you can do it too.

If you could describe yourself in one word what would you want it to be?

I’m asking my clients this question this week during checks ins and thought I’d share. For me it would be strong. I feel that I would like to be not only physically strong but mentally strong.

Don’t get me wrong it’s cool to be the friend everyone asks to open jars but I also wanna be the friend that’s admired for my courage when facing adversity. I feel like this picture embodies this well.
