Leah Churchwell Fitness I'm Leah Churchwell and I'm an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Specialist in Exercise Heyya :) here's a little information about me.

I was born in western Pennsylvania, I'm currently in school to get my bachelor's in mechanical engineering. My first semester of college I had to take a health course, and thus began my love for fitness. In November of 2013 I joined a local gym and started working out every day. I loved it and I loved the gym atmosphere. I decided that becoming a trainer would be an excellent option for me. I sinc

e have went on to earn my certification in personal training as well as my certification as a specialist in exercise therapy through ISSA, I have also taken two health courses, a nutrition course, and a physical fitness course while in college. With over two years of experience, I love to help others reach their goals. I'm not here to sell you any "magic" shakes, pills, or junk like that. I'm here to show you that hard work and dedication will get you wherever you want to go.

I have a new workout program available now☺️ It’s a 12 week program, designed for beginners, that is broken up into 3 phases with each phase slightly more difficult than the last to help you reach your goals and make consistent progress💪🏻

It includes access to the Trainerize app where you’ll be able to keep track of your progress (including your measurements and add progress photos, if you wish!) and includes video demonstrations for all workouts so you’ll be confident you’re performing them correctly. Also has in-app messaging so you can reach out to me with any questions you may have.
It does require access to a gym.

If you don’t have a gym membership, don’t worry I’m working on some brand new at-home programs that’ll be ready sometime within the next week or so😊

Today I earned a really big accomplishment that I’ve been working towards for the past 5 and a half years. I’m so excited to finally reach this milestone and to continue to improve my education when it comes to fitness and overall health. Today I finished my Nutritionist certification course and officially became a Certified Nutritionist and earned my Elite Trainer status🥰 I’m so excited for this and all the things to come.

With so many places closing, especially places like gyms, I know how overwhelming it is to not know how you’re going to get your workout in, but to help make the transition easier I’ve made my at-home workout plans available now for just $10. They require no equipment other than a set of dumbbells but if you don’t have dumbbells you can certainly do without. Plans also include videos of every exercise and email access to me to answer any questions or help along the way✨

Something else I wanted to talk about is how unnecessarily cruel people can be on social media. I recently got a comment on one of my YouTube videos saying “aren’t you a little fat to be a personal trainer”. Now, I’m in no way playing the victim card here because I know that hate comments comes with the territory of putting yourself out there on social media and I fully expected that as my channel grew I would see this. The things people say don’t bother me personally, what bothers me instead is how anybody even has the nerve to say such a thing to ANY human being in the first place. Who gave you the audacity!? It just absolutely blows my mind that these people were raised to believe such behavior is totally okay and acceptable. I have tough skin and that rolls off my back, but what if you said that to someone who’s vulnerable or suicidal? Just an awful thing to say to anyone regardless.
Anywho I just wanted to put that out there because I was so blown away seeing how boldly people speak on social media, with no regards to how it may impact the person they’re speaking to.
I chose this angle for these photos because I’m tired of being shamed for being curvy when there’s girls out there who pay A LOT of money to get curves like this, and I have it all naturally🤗 If that makes me fat, eh so be it. I had stopped recording workout videos for a while because I felt like my butt looked huge in every video and people were always telling me not to “show it off” like that. But I can’t hide it lmao it’s here to stay and I need to embrace it. So I’ll be back to posting workout videos really soon. Huge butt and all😊

No problem, I have an at-home plan that requires no equipment at all🤗 And if you do prefer to take your workout to the gym, I have a gym-based plan as well.

Some new stuff from my website just got here and I’m so excited about these new arrivals!

✨The iPhone case is sooo cute, it has a hint of shimmer to it.

✨The new tanks are super soft and these are unisex so anyone can wear one. The logo is a dark grey color and the shirt itself is oatmeal. More colors are available on my website😊

✨The cropped sweatshirts are also super soft, very thick, so great for the colder weather if you pair it with high rise jeans or leggings. Size up if you want it a bit longer because these are super cropped. More colors available on my website for these as well!

I wear a size small and everything fits me perfect😇 I’ll post pics of me trying them on after I’m home from class.

Pull day workout💪🏻 Recently started incorporating pull and push days into my routine for my upper body workouts, so far I’m really happy with this decision😎 I did between 8 and 12 reps of each exercise and 3 sets, using a weight that’s comfortable yet challenging for me (this will be different for everyone; use a weight that works for you!). 7 year transformation. Age 17 on the left and now age 24 on the right. And about a 50 pound difference between the two🤭 There’s no secret or trick when it comes to getting thicker, just eat GOOD FOOD and lift heavy weights. And of course don’t be afraid of putting on weight. Seeing the scale go up can be intimidating for some people but it’s completely necessary if you’re looking to make a change like this.
I get asked a lot “how do you keep your waist thin and get a bigger butt?” Or “how is your upper body so small?”
Some of this is genetics but a lot of this is made in the gym and by eating the right foods.
