Missing a workout doesn't mean you're falling behind.
Without jinxing it (hopefully), Pittsburgh summer is pretty much here.
Our schedules are about to change — concerts that keep us dancing later than planned, Pirates games that go into extra innings, kids' games, cookouts, vacations, weddings, and last-minute plans...
Life will do what life does.
Good.
Go experience those moments!
The goal isn't perfection. The goal is to keep moving toward where you want to go.
Miss a workout? Don't punish yourself.
Don't try to "make up" for it.
Don't double your workouts next week.
Don't convince yourself you've fallen behind.
Just pick up where you left off.
Consistency isn't never missing.
It's returning to the plan when you do.
Stay consistent.
