From the time my kids were 1 and 3 I have consistently worked out a minimum of 3x a week. Until this past June.
The last 8 weeks I've worked out maybe 5x total and while I know I have a very good reason to be out of my routine; I also have a very good reason to get back to it.
Myself
I remember posting a picture on my birthday with the caption "I'm not dead so I'm not done." And now it's time to re-embrace that mindset and take care of myself again.
Not because I'm over his death, not because I don't still miss him with every ounce of me, not because I'm magically healed from the grief and trauma.
But because I have a standard I want to live by and I've gotten away from it. When that happens, we reframe and begin again...one step at a time.
Today I went for a short walk before work. Something is better than nothing. Thank you to my coaches and fellow grinders in
