Mobility is everything. I don’t care if you can squat 500 lbs. nobody wants to be a big stiff strong mug 😂. Unless you like that sort of thing 🤷🏾♂️.
Performing big lifts like squats for example. If your ankle and hip mobility are limited. Your risking injury and could actually lift more if you dial back and correct the issues.
Ex tight hamstrings could mean weak glutes. Weak flutes takes away from your strength during the lift.
Ex poor ankle mobility could lead to more pressure on your knees, leading to injury.
Ex weak hips or tight hip flexors can lead to more pressure on your lower back, leading to injury and now recruiting other muscles to work harder then they have to.
Fix the issues before you HURT YO SELF.
I’m sharing from experience. I tried to ignore my lack of mobility only to realize it’s holding me back.
