Emily had a great week, being a strong corner and helping her team stay competitive throughout the night!

Favorite thing about 3RDC: Working on something until it clicks during a game and I surprise myself.

Big congrats to Sarah Hill on being our Spring Week 6 Player of the Week! 🏆🌸

Sarah had an awesome performance this week, making key catches and outs while continuing to improve every time she steps on the court. Her confidence and defensive play really stood out and helped make a big impact for her team!

A bit more about Sarah:

Why did you join 3RDC?: I joined 3RDC at the recommendation of friends. I’ve been playing through Stonewall for a couple seasons and love to be competitive and thought this league would be a good challenge for me and help me improve my game!

Fun Fact: I was born on St. Patrick’s Day lol

It’s been a month since the USA Dodgeball Premier Tour stop at Hamilton, OH and I think we’ve all recovered (mostly).

We wanted to recognize all of the Pittsburgh teams and players that competed in the tournament. We had about 30 players from our league attend this tournament! Everyone showed why these other cities need to keep an eye on Pittsburgh dodgeball 💪 Shoutout to the women’s team Damascus, open team Steel City GOAT, and mixed team Steel Phantoms for all finishing 2nd in their respective divisions.

Congratulations to the Burgh Ballers, Damascus, Hunter’s Gatherers, Katch Up, Steel City GOAT, Steel City Sirens, and Steel Phantoms for a great showing! You made Three Rivers Dodgeball Club proud!

Big congrats to Austin Pasquale on being our Spring Week 5 Player of the Week! 🏆🌸

Austin had a great showing this week, including an awesome 1v1 in his match and some great throws throughout the night. He’s really coming out of the gate impressing league veterans.

A bit more about Austin:

Why did you join 3RDC?: I joined 3RDC because I have played dodgeball for 4 years now and want to keeping playing in between the stonewall seasons!

Fun Fact: I just moved from Boston to Pittsburgh in the Fall for an accelerated Nursing School program!

Big congrats to Cassandra and Brad on being our Spring Week 4 Co-Players of the Week! 🏆🌸

In their first season with 3RDC, both players absolutely popped off with catches this week. Brad came away with 5+ catches in his match, and Cassandra had 3 huge catches of her own, including an incredible ankle catch. Awesome performances all around!

A bit more about Cassandra:

Why did you join 3RDC?: I joined 3RDC because my friend told me about the league and told me I should sign up if I was interested. I thought it’d be fun to do together!

Fun Fact: My favorite hobby is cosplaying and going to conventions.

A bit more about Brad:

Why did you join 3RDC?: I was taking a walk in Frick Park and saw one of the flyers for the league and missed sports in general.

Fun Fact: I used to do Alpine ski racing and a related fact is I broke different bones in one winter.

Big congrats to Havannah Tung on being our Spring Week 3 Player of the Week! 🏆🌸

Havannah has been leveling up every week in her first 3RDC season. Fearless on the line and quick to learn and apply tips, she’s been making a bigger impact each time she steps on the court. Excited to see her grow!

A bit more about Havannah:

Why did you join 3RDC?: I joined 3RDC after a friend recommended it, and playing dodgeball makes me feel like I’m a character in Dragon Ball.

Fun Fact: Other sports I’m currently playing are softball and billiards. I also enjoy knitting/crocheting, swimming, and skating!

Big congrats to Eileen Wang on being our Spring Week 2 Player of the Week! 🏆🌸

In her very first 3RDC game, Eileen pulled off an incredible 3 vs 1 comeback to close out the final round. What a debut, well deserved!

Why did you join 3RDC?: I joined 3RDC because I have friends who play, and I wanted to join in on the fun.

Fun Fact: Elephants are my favorite animal!

Big congrats to Millie Moncavage on being our Spring Week 1 Player of the Week! 🏆🌸

Brand new to the league and already making a big impact, Millie has shown impressive athleticism and tons of potential right out of the gate. Excited to see what they continue to bring this season!

A bit more about Millie:

Why did you join 3RDC?: I joined 3RDC after several people recommended it during my first Stonewall season with the goal of improving my dodgeball skills and making friends. Dodgeball was surprisingly a hit new sport for me. Oh and of course to become the best player in town. 😉

Fun Fact: I used to be a semi-professional soccer player in the UK during my time at college. I love staying active and this is my first year openly out and proud and it’s been great!
