FLAMES WIN!

The Northgate Flames boys basketball team is on its way to the WPIAL Class 2A Championship Game after a 63-54 victory over Bishop Canevin Tuesday night.

The Flames trailed by 14 points to the Crusaders early in the game, but stormed back in the second half to advance to the title game for the first time since 1988.

Northgate will now play Aliquippa at the Petersen Events Center at 1 p.m. Saturday.
