What an awesome day at the track. I ran 2 classes on the same day which ended up being physically exhausting. The KA100 race went ok, constantly learning and finally figured out some engine/carb settings at the end. Had to pull off early to get ready for the 206 race.

In the 206 I set fast time in practice out of 36 karts. Missed the changes on qualifying and ended up starting 12 in the pre final. Ran well, made it to 9th. Then 9th to 8th in the final.

Race 6 this weekend!

Race 5 was a few weeks ago, half way through the 2022 season at Pitt Race. Our best race yet competing in a tight group of karts racing for 4th place (4-7) out of 32. Ended up in 7th after some shuffling the last lap.

It takes a village…

Seriously, I’m late on this post but we had our first KA100 race a few weekends ago and it went great.

We had good pace all weekend and came away with many lessons learned. The KA class is faster and MUCH more physically demanding than I’m used to.

Our friend and veteran racer Joshua Guiher competed in our other kart in the LO206 class on Saturday, after not having raced for a few years, it was awesome to see him behind the wheel again.

Extra special thanks to “Z” McGee for her help doing absolutely everything on Saturday, she’s got what it takes to make it on the track sometime very soon.

Can’t get enough of this past weekend. Our 7th place finish doesn’t reflect the absolute rocket-ship of a kart I had, sitting in the top 3 fast times every time it hit the track. Now if only I can keep it pointed in the right direction!
