🏀 COACH COOK STAFF COMPLETE! 🏀
The Pittsburg High School Boys Basketball coaching staff is officially complete! 🐉💜
We are excited to announce the additions of Jalen King, John Kohler, and Dominique Shelman to the Purple Dragon Basketball staff.
🔹 Jalen King
A former PHS basketball player and Purple Dragon alum, Jalen brings a strong connection to the program and the Southeast Kansas community. Jalen also played for Coach Cook at Fort Scott Community College, where he was a member of the 2014 conference championship team that earned a berth in the NJCAA National Tournament. His experience as both a player and coach will be invaluable to our program.
🔹 John Kohler
A former Labette County High School basketball player, John brings his own playing experience and Southeast Kansas ties to the Purple Dragon staff. We are excited to have his energy, knowledge, and commitment to developing our players.
🔹 Dominique Shelman
We are excited to welcome Dominique back for his second year on the PHS coaching staff. His familiarity with our players, program, and expectations provides important continuity as we continue building.
This staff represents experience, local connections, relationships, and a shared commitment to the development of our student-athletes.
The goal remains simple:
