Had the Waddell family out today. They ended up with a wide variety on the table(7 different species). We got off the lake before it got too hot. Caught everything today on minnows in 20fow.

Had Melissa and Leanne out for a birthday trip today. These ladies limited out and left with a mess a good size slabs. All caught on minnows. A few days open in July.

BENEFIT FOR THE WHITTONS. I was supposed to take my friend Thomas and his son Levi on a fishing trip but both were tragically taken from us this week. Thomas and Levi left a baseball game in Mount Pleasant Thursday but never made it home. In memory of them, I will raffle off a guided 5hr crappie fishing trip for up to 4 people on Sandlin or Cypress. Carter is donating 25 of his hand tied CCJ jigs to the winner as well.

100% of proceeds will go to the Whitton family. The drawing will be live June 1st. Chances are $25 each.

The Williams wanted to go target big fish and they did just that. Found some absolute slabs on the timber and they put together a nice mess. All caught on a chartreuse hand tied CCJ tipped with a minnow. 25-30fow.

Monica and Mark cashed in their gift certificate I gave to the City of Pittsburg as a prize last fall. We were able to get out and catch a mess before the wind picked up. We had to pick through a lot of small ones today but all were caught on minnow in 25 fow.
