Went out to Bob Sandlin today, the Crappie bite is still 🔥. 15 to 20 ft of water at all depths on trees, brush and laydowns. Didn't find my 2 pounders but the average fish was in the 1.50 to 1.70lbs range which is good weight for post spawn fish. All 🐟 were caught on 1 jig from Slab Syndicate jigs. No Minnows were used on this trip which is very unusual for me as Minnows are like an American Express Card, don't leave home without it!!
I showed up with one rod on the boat ready to battle...

Today I did a little scouting on Lake Bob Sandlin. Went to an area that I had never fished before to see if I could find some decent fish. Fished water from 10 to 17ft deep. Water temp was 53 degrees. I caught a lot of fish and I put together a decent bag totaling 11.11lbs for biggest 7. Big fish 1.82.
Only used 1 rod and 1 jig today. No Minnows were harmed today as the store did not have any...LOL

Today was an EPIC PB Day on Lake Fork!!! I can only wish for this to happen again and hope it happens in a tournament. My PB Big Fish changed 3 times in one day and stands at 2.71lbs for Lake Fork. My Big 7 weights are as follows: 2.09, 2.16, 2.40, 2.44, 2.71, 2.16, 2.40 totaling a whopping 16.36lb.
My weapons of choice for today was:
HH Rods And Reels 16ft Tsunami and 13.5 Warpig both with 1000 pro series reels

On Saturday I competed at the Crappie Anglers of Texas (CAT) Tournament on Lake Palestine. The wind speed of 15 to 20 the entire time was harshest for me, the temp was a little chilly but dressing for the occasion helped that.
My Big fish was 1.97bs. My total weight was 10.25lbs finishing 14th out of 29.
My take away / learning point is that I need to practice in all weather situations as we might have an idea of what the weather should be but that is not promised!
My choice of weapons for this tournament was:

HH Rods And Reels Typhoon 16 rod with 1000 pro series reel

Last but not least...Minnows!

Another scouting day but on a different lake. Today I went to Lake Bob Sandlin. Water temp was 51, crappie have started to hit the trees and laydowns. Found a bunch just out roaming also. Big fish today was 1.98 and total for 7 biggest was 10.90lbs. Will definitely need to get that weight up for tournament fishing. I did not take any pics of today's fish but I did do a video, hopefully I figure that go pro out soon...lol

OK Missouri, We have 2 more nights left here before we move to our new home in Pittsburg, TX. We will definitely miss all our KC / MO Family. We won't say good bye, just see ya later as we will stay in touch and will be back every now and again!
