When should you call your rep for maintenance help? Less often than you'd think.

Your team can handle tightening hardware, raking, cleaning surfaces, and keeping moving parts lubricated. That covers most of what a playspace needs day-to-day.

The time to call is when you spot crumbling pour-in-place surfacing, turf seam separation, or rope with exposed steel strands.

Calling all North Carolina Municipalities and Parks and Recreation Departments! LWCF funding applications are now open. This is a great opportunity to help fund your next playspace!

The Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) grant opportunity is now open and accepting applications for their next grant cycle.

LWCF provides matching grants to local governments to support outdoor public recreation projects across North Carolina, including land acquisition, facility development, renovations, and combination projects.

All 2027 applications must be submitted by Nov. 2, 2026, at 5 p.m. Only completed applications will be accepted and reviewed for recommendation for funding.

These grants help communities create and improve parks, trails, recreation areas, and other outdoor spaces that benefit residents and visitors for generations to come.

Ready, Set, Play! Summerville, SC Parks & Recreation Doty Park is open and ready for play! Yesterday's grand opening was filled with fun, crafts, and lots of play. This inclusive playground was designed by representative Johnny Davis and the BCI Burke Playground Equipment design team. We are wrapping up April with our latest Project of the Month from Jones County NC. This project was the culmination of individual, private, and public support. Project lead John Barrs helped to design this project, which was funded by grants from Trillium Health Resources and the NC Parks and Recreation Trust Fund.
