With temps dropping into the teens the next few nights we are covering our greens to protect them. The course will remain closed until 1/22 when we hope to pull the tarps off. Just walking outside to take this picture chilled me to my bones! What were those fans at the Chiefs game thinking?! Nuts!

Looks like a rather dreary day ahead. Heavy rainfall, high winds and possible ...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO
10 PM EST THIS EVENING...

mph, with gusts between 35 and 50 mph expected during the
afternoon and evening Tuesday.

Like getting a shave and a haircut, there's something about getting a new roof that makes everything look better.

We experienced a rather brutal cold spell overnight but due to the ground temps still being moderate the roots and grass blades have not gone completely dormant. We purposely iced the greens last night in order to protect the plant from damage. Similar to how the citrus industry ices their orchards when they have a early frost.This is necessary until the ground temperature drops after a prolonged cold spell. Once that happens we will be able to put tarps over the greens to protect them.

New roof going on the Clubhouse and cart barn this week. Don't let all the construction scare you away, we are still open.

Chapel Ridge will be open on Thanksgiving for a 9AM shotgun start. This will allow our patrons and the staff time to get home and enjoy the holiday with their families. Everthing in the Pro-Shop is 10% off and you will teceive a free range basket with your paid round as a way to say Thank you.
