I was fighting for my son’s life before I ever knew what that fight would require of me.
I didn’t know where the road would lead. I didn’t know that advocacy would become part of my life’s assignment. I just knew one thing, I wanted my son to survive.
Out of that pain, that fight, and a mother refusing to give up, AIMED was born. What started as something deeply personal became a purpose that would eventually touch the lives of so many others.
And truthfully, the fight never completely ended. It just changed.
But every day, I get to see this smile. 🤎
And that smile reminds me why I fought, why I built, and why I’m still standing.
Sometimes purpose is born in the very place where you were simply praying for survival.
