🚴‍♀️💙 WE CARE ABOUT OUR RIDERS 💙🚴‍♂️

A big part of staying safe is knowing the rules of the road. We want all of our riders to enjoy the freedom of two wheels while avoiding accidents, injuries... and those not-so-fun tickets. 🚔💸

📢 Know the Rules:

⚡ If it goes faster than 28 MPH, it is NOT an e-bike—even if it has pedals and was marketed as one. At that point, it's considered an e-motorcycle and requires:
🏍️ DMV Registration
🏍️ Insurance
🏍️ Motorcycle License
🏍️ Motorcycle Helmet

👦👧 Riders under 16 are limited to 20 MPH until they turn 16.

🚲 E-bikes must follow the same rules as traditional bicycles:
✅ Ride WITH the flow of traffic
❌ Never ride against traffic
🛑 Stop at stop signs
🚦 Obey traffic lights
👀 Be predictable and visible

🚫 In some cities—including Pismo Beach—bicycles and e-bikes are not allowed on sidewalks and riders can be cited.

Most importantly:
💙 Be safe.
💙 Be respectful.
💙 Share the road.
💙 Be a great ambassador for the cycling community.
