Although we are disappointed we needed to cancel our race, we are thankful for our runners support of our Race To Restore Campaign💛
If you registered and have not already contacted us, you have until this Saturday, September 18 to request a refund of your registration fee. Please email [email protected] to request a refund. We will be unable to give refunds after this date.
If you would like to donate your registration fee to our campaign, you do not need to email us! We will be mailing race swag to those who don’t request a refund in the next few weeks. We appreciate your support & understanding!

As we bear witness to the recent impacts from several tropical storm systems throughout the Pisgah National Forest District, FIND Outdoors has made the difficult decision to cancel the Cradle to Grave race for 2021 as the safety of our runners and our trails is paramount above all other matters.
The decision to cancel Cradle to Grave Race aligns perfectly with our desire to:
Ensure the health and longevity of our beloved Pisgah National Forest.
Promote and ensure the stewardship of impacted trail systems.
Support our local EMS professionals, local law enforcement officials and the US Forest Service in encouraging recreation on adjacent public lands until further notice.
Promote responsible recreation and Leave No Trace principles at all times.
