Powley road is now reopened.
Flood waters have subsided and everything is back to normal.
Depending on weather we may actually groom a bit longer. 🤞
Go slow!!! Lots of icy base under the new snow and edges are narrowed in
I made it top to bottom and removed most of the debris.
Annual meeting for elections and raffle are tomorrow at 9am at the clubhouse.

Just a quick update.
Powley rd is temporarily closed do to flooding making it impassable.
It's still in decent shape from the north end to the clearing but flooded at the bridge.
We'll check it tomorrow and hopefully reopen it soon

All this week we were out grooming.
Stu and Ron were on the oxbow trail, Dave K, Gene , and Rick on spy. Spike handled the powley rd.
All trails were in excellent shape despite the high temperatures.
With high temperatures for the weekend we'll probably start suffering a meltdown but we're not throwing in the towel yet.
As long as there's snow and we're not doing more damage than good we'll be grooming for awhile longer.

Yesterday the job was finished.
Stu and Rick did some initial set up of the switches and Spike and Rick did the final wiring installation.
The new UTV is ready for action should we need it with the old sherpa drag.

All trails were groomed this morning but probably won't fair well in the heat of the day.

Nice seeing our sheriff patrol with the ranger out.
Thanks guys for slowing traffic down and making out trails safe!!!

Our club Volunteers who started the day by grooming, to ensure a pleasant ride for all. Then showing up to setup, cook and hustle.

To all who showed up to hang out and support the groomers and the club itself. We had a fantastic turnout, a great fire and lots of laughs.

Our event is a success because we ALL love the sport. Stay safe out there 💜
