Club Coalition Practice!!
It was an honor to have so many hammers in our room today. We thought there might be around 60-80 kids so you could imagine our concern when 115 showed up. We pulled it off and everyone had a great workout. Each athlete wrestled the equivalent of 3 matches with partners from all over the state. We are lucky to be centrally located and not too far for kids from north, south, and west Jersey. Would love to make this a monthly event. Yesterday was a busy day at the club. We had 52 kids in our Advanced Class and 25 in the High School class. Before practice we had 4 lessons going on in the room at the same time. Coach Hilt was working with a small youth group, Coach Shane and Coach Poz were each working with a high school wrestler, and Coach Donnie was working out with active collegiate wrestler Logan Wadle. We’ve been lucky to have our college guys in the room while they are home. Any college wrestler who wants to workout in our room is welcome. Our college boys are available for private lessons as well as every coach on our staff. To inquire about lessons you can ask any coach or text Coach Donnie.

This Sunday Frost Gang and Duro will be in the house for a live workout! 10-11:30am: 30 min warmup followed by an hour of live wrestling. This workout is free for all Yale Street, Frost Gang, and Duro members. If you are not a member of these 3 clubs, you can still participate by visiting our website and signing up for a Sunday Drop-in.

We are thrilled to announce a partnership with NCAA Champion Darrion Caldwell. Darrion was one of the most exciting wrestlers to ever come out of NJ. A 3 time State Champ for Rahway HS, Darrion went on to NC State where he was a 3 time All-American and 2009 NCAA Champ. After college Darrion signed with Bellator and had a successful career in Mixed Martial Arts, which included winning a World Title in 2018. He is currently an active competitor in RAF. Darrion will be attending class once a week as a coach/trainer partner and will be available for private lessons. Members check your emails for more info.

Royalty was in the room today. Thank you Darrion Caldwell for running an awesome Sunday practice. Darrion is a 3 time NJ State Champ, NCAA Champ, and Bellator World Champ. He is one of the greatest NJ wrestlers ever, and was a true fan favorite to watch. We were very lucky to have him in our room today. Hope you can stop by again sometime soon Champ, and thanks again!!
