The new sculpture in the YMCA parking is titled, “NORI”.

It was sculpted by artist, Bret Price. (Google him) Bret has been sculpting for over 50 years and his artwork is displayed all over the country.

It was anonymously donated to the YMCA in honor of longtime supporter of the YMCA and the Piqua Community, the late Daniel P. French. We are proud to display it!

There will be a plaque installed on each side of it in the near future!

A BIG THANK YOU to all of our friends at PSC Crane and Rigging for safely transporting and installing this beautiful sculpture! Another multi-generational family business we are fortunate to have in our community.

UPDATE:
The Large Pool at the Robinson Branch will open at 12:00 noon today (Friday)

Important Robinson Branch Update:

The Large Pool is currently closed and we are hoping it will be back open Friday afternoon. There was a mechanical failure outside of our control with the pump system. Parts have been ordered and are due Friday. Once the repair is made, we will open the pool back up when the chemicals are balanced.

The Small Pool is still open! The pools at the UVMC/Premier Branch are still closed as part of routine maintenance through next Monday.

Ready for your youngins to begin Soccer? This indoor league for 3-6 year olds at the UVMC/Premier Health Branch is a great place to start this fall. Beginning September 13th, this Sunday afternoon league will give players a chance learn the basics of soccer and the importance of listening to a coach and playing as a team.

There are currently two divisions (3-4 year olds and 5-6 year olds, but most likely will be 3-5 year olds combined).

Sign up to coach during registration. YMCA Sports count on parents to volunteer with their child's team as coaches, and it is easier to sign up at registration than to wait until Y Staff has to reach out because the players don't have anybody signed up! Your child will love that you are coaching them!

The Robinson Branch is offering a new parent/child class.
This program allows your child to become more independent and comfortable in the water with you in the water encouraging them every step of the way. Then dry off and get ready to go play in the gymnasium where imagination and physical activity are combined for a fun experience.
