Well that’s a wrap for our points season at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk… got to the track on Friday and made a few test passes under the lights! Mother Nature made it a one time trial and right into first round for Saturday.. Kendall hit the tree having a .011 light getting the bye first round.. Second round came and the red light got Kendall to end her day and season! Poor Callie we have been struggling with her car since Bristol making adjustments and just to finally think we might got it and we unfortunately do not!! She broke out by a bunch and you feel so bad when you can’t give the girl the car she needs to go rounds!! This season has had its highs and lows but lessons were learned and that’s what you gotta do and keep chasing another round win another day!! Our season at Norwalk might be done but we still have plans to race a few more times before the cars are put away for winter! Congrats to all the track champions this year!! The girls season is getting closer to the end and I still can’t believe our Norwalk season has one more weekend left… We went early on Friday to do some testing and get Callie’s car closer to the 8.90 dial.. finally was able to get it there by Saturday morning… Callie was doing her job by having great lights but we learned a lesson in driving first round where she broke out by 5thou… Kendall also was having good lights all day but second round Kendall learned the same lesson as Callie and broke out but had plenty of room to get the win but again unfortunately lost second round… Our crew chief then decide he wanted to do some racing last night where he made it down to 4 cars in Pro.. congrats Dad!! As always thanks to all our family and friends and sponsors that help us out all season long!!

Night Under Fire 2026!! 💜🩵 We weren’t able to get past first round this year but we had so much fun meeting all our idols and hanging out with friends!! Summit Motorsports Park staff worked their tails off to be able to get the race in despite the rain and the forecast.. Thank you for not giving up!! Also huge congrats to our Schaeffer’s teammate Keegan Beverly Racing on the win last night!!! Next weekend back at Norwalk for a points meet! Bottom Bulb Bash at 131 is always a good time!! Each girl was able to go a couple of rounds here and there but no big wins this weekend! We tried index racing for the first time this weekend which was fun and the girls got to see a pro tree. The highlight of the weekend for the girls was running in the golf cart race where they raced the bigger kids first round and beat them going dead on.. congrats to all the winners this weekend and can’t wait til next year! Now onto Night Under Fire at Norwalk on Saturday!!

Our week at Bristol is over! We are headed home with no Wallys but a lot of memories and lessons learned! We unfortunately lost first round of Eastern Conference Finals with Callie going red and Kendall getting a perfect light but unfortunately could not run the number… we struggled all week getting the cars to hook on the track and not spinning and Callie’s car having a “miss” at the beginning of the week… but we learned our lessons and are ready for next year already!!! “It’s Bristol Baby” Congrats to our teammates that went deep into the rounds!!

Next week we are headed to Martin, MI to 131 for the bottom bulb bash.. then onto our favorite race of the season.. Night Under Fire where both girls are qualified to race this year!! 💜🩵

Might not be the trophy we were hoping for and will recap more tomorrow on our drive home… but Kendall got a trophy today for having the best reaction time for 11 year olds… .000 a perfect reaction time!! 💜

Bristol update: Rain really put a damper on last weekend and the beginning of this week.. we got to make 1 time run Saturday, rained out Sunday, made 1 time run Monday, and then on Tuesday we went right into eliminations for the Teel Family Memorial Race.. where Kendall lost first round and Callie lost second round, Today we went right into eliminations again for the Mike Bos Fun Races and unfortunately Kendall lost again first round and again Callie lost second round.. we have been having a lot of fun with friends, we were able to go tubing one day, and cheering on our teammates!!!

The rest of the week.. looks like 2 time runs tomorrow and then right into eliminations Friday morning due to rain coming in for the weekend! Lets go team SMP 🇺🇸 lets get those Wally’s!!!
