We couldn't decide on an MVP this year, so we picked these two guys: Jaxon Stahler and Wade Wagner. Both threw lockdown innings late in the game and had big hits. Great seeing younger guys come out.

Real Game was a blast in year 7. Probably best turnout since the first one in 2020. Super competitive, 6-5 final with no lead ever bigger than 1.

Lot of shoutouts to go around: Cory Apt for returning as our umpire, Tano's for the post-game grub, Williams County first responders for doing their thing, Jessica Durham for going into Mom Mode when needed, LuAnne Haupt for being the (retired) nurse on hand.

Sending a lot of love to our guy Tyler Christman. Wishing him the best on the road to recovery.

And thank you to everyone who was a part of 2026. Was an up-and-down season but the good weekends were fantastic.

Year ... 4? Year 4! Aug. 8 marked year 4 of our Wiffle Ball Day. We raised more than $150 for the Williams County Humane Society.

We had TWO guys from Colorado come play and another from Indianapolis. So if you're local, what gives? Y'all really don't know what you're missing!

Shoutout to my lovely girlfriend Devin for 3D printing our trophies at the KHCPL. Libraries are wonderful community resources and you should visit yours more often.

For $15, you can come play wiffle ball at a pretty sweet location while benefitting local animals with the Williams County Humane Society. I mean, that's a no brainer, right?

Come as a team of 5 or just bring yourself. We hope you'll help us continue to grow our wiffle ball day while benefitting community causes.

Re: The Tourney

Due to no team sign-ups for the second consecutive year, I am retiring the Tourney, for now.

We will have one last backyard baseball day at the field from 1-4 p.m. Saturday. Pop out any time and take some swing and have some fun. This is a super-fun version of baseball this is accessible to most people. I hope you'll consider coming out to what started it all at 42 Field.

Other events at the field will continue. Wiffle ball and the Real Game are on deck for August!

So, you can play kickball with just 6 people ... for a very short time before everyone gets tired. But it was fun enough, we'll try it again next year!

42 Field, located outside Pioneer, hosted a kickball tournament fundraiser on Saturday, July 11, with proceeds benefiting the Pioneer Community Church food pantry. The event combined community fun with a practical local purpose, helping support an organization that provides assistance to area residents in need.
