Greetings from the banks of Little Sugar Creek!

Take a look at Little Sugar Creek's left bank, near the big bend where the washed-out bridge once crossed—this photo shows the massive amount of dirt that was hauled upstream taken from the Lake Bella Vista dam. These hundreds of piles of dirt, which once formed the failed dam, are now being repurposed for streambank rebuilding.
Over the coming weeks, the dam dirt will be carefully graded into the banks to create a brand-new public access area. Once completed, this spot will become one of the main community launch points on Little Sugar Creek, offering easy access for swimming, fishing, and launching kayaks. From a failed dam to a new public streambank in Sugar Creek Park, we are excited to see this space made into something for everyone to enjoy and have access to a FREE LITTLE SUGAR CREEK!..and a river runs through it...

If uneducated humans don’t stop taking multiple old growth smallmouth out of the local waterways then there isn’t going to be any left to catch. Just saying…Arkansas has taken the lead, Missouri needs to catch up on its regulations and enforcement!

$50 kayak 🛶 rentals are available for this four mile stretch from The Greene's down to Griffiths Bridge and also from Dogwood Drive in Bella Vista, Arkansas back to the campground 🏕️

I wanted to share a newer RV park and campground on the King’s River I used this past week to go floating with my grandson Bentlee! The owner James offers shuttles too and has a sweeeettttt spot 🏕️ I plan to take my camper and stay when the water levels are great again like they were this past week! 🛶 🐟
