Queen City Barbell is here! We are an Olympic Weightlifting focused gym in the Pineville/South Charlotte area and opening up the doors Sept. 28th to the public.

Whether you are a beginner, competitive weightlifter, or Crossfiter, we have the right programs and coaches to help you take your fitness to the next level! We will have two main programming options to choose from that vary from workouts per week, intensity, volume, strength blocks, competition cycles, technique work, accessory exercises and more. Our coaches have backgrounds and experience in Olympic Lifting, CrossFit, Power Lifting, Strongman and more so whatever your goal is, we can help get you there! Each day will have certain coaching hours that will guarantee a coach to be there and help you progress and develop the right technique and form.

Programming Options:
* 5x a week : Oly focused for beginners or competitive weightlifters
* 3x a week: Uses Olympic Lifting to supplement CrossFit/ other training

Hours:
M-F: 6a-12 & 3p-8p
Sat: 7-10:30
Sunday: 11-1p
*Coaching hours will vary*

Thanks to everyone that came out to our first OLY CLASS yesterday at !! We had a great time lifting, learned some new things and made some good improvements already!!

is the Head Coach at Queen City Barbell and has been involved in Olympic Lifting for the past 4 years. Jake lifts in the 89kg weight class and was 2nd in NC and 11th in the US in 2019. He has competed in national events and the Wodapalooza Weightlifting Faceoff in recent years.

Jake is excited to help grow the sport in the South Charlotte area and help others reach their goals!
