As I sit here and reflect on this track season, I couldn’t be prouder of our kids.

I couldn’t be prouder of them. They faced adversity, setbacks, and still kept coming back for more.

They have worked so hard, day in and day out. Truthfully, many of them have already started working for the next season.

We have big goals, big dreams, and we aren’t afraid to put the work in. We will be back, we aren’t done yet.

Congratulations to our own Avery Roberson for winning the Sportsmanship Award at the State Track Meet this past Thursday.

Avery your dedication, kindness, and leadership on and off the track are top class. We are so proud of everything that you have accomplished this year.

For your fun fact of the day: Avery defended former teammate Andrew Harding’s State titles in both Cross Country and Track this year.

I cannot wait to see what more you have in store for your senior year. Keep shining.

Holy Moly What a day of Running for our Lady Panthers, the lady Panthers finished 9th overall out of 33 teams.

Our 4x8 team of Allie Tetterton, Piper Johnson, Cassidy Trueblood, and Trinity Modlin finished fifth overall with an outstanding performance by all four ladies.

In Field, Senior Chloe Black continued to impress throwing 102 feet earning a 2nd place finish overall.

Freshman Vanessa Harris flew over the bar at a height of 4’10” earning her a second place finish in high jump. 

Our ladies 4x2 team of Audrey Hedgepeth, Mia Liverman, Kiya Mosley, and Trinity Modlin. Hedgepeth ran her best split of the season and continues to look strong while her teammates also had strong performances and have so much to be proud of.

Corabeth Asby continues to run hard and with everything she has earning a 15th place finish overall.

In the open 400, freshman Vanessa Harris and Allie Tetterton ran a 1:08 and 1:11 respectively earning a 13th and 14th finish in the state . 

In the 4 x 400 meter relay, senior Piper Johnson lead the way with freshman Vanessa Harris, Allie Tetterton and Cassidy Trueblood. Each of the lady Panthers ran a strong performance with a time of 4:43 seconds. 

We are all so incredibly proud of our Lady Panthers. Each of our ladies showed a lot of grit, heart, determination, and class at the track meet today. We look forward to another season with most of them and will miss our senior lady Panthers.

Way to go girls!
