Senior Spotlight! Meet Brooklyn!

Hi! My name is Brooklyn Jones and I am a senior at Blue Ridge High School. I will be attending NAU in the fall to pursue a degree in Nursing. I have been dancing at The Dance Academy since I was 3 years old! Dance has always been my favorite activity and such an amazing outlet for me! I have met some of the best friends, mentors, older sisters, and in general just amazing people through dance. Dance has taught me so many things about myself and life and how to push to be my best when things get hard. I am so so thankful for the TDA Dance family and I will always cherish everything I have learned from them in my heart. I plan to come back to dance whenever I am home from college, and potentially teach dance while attending school.

Senior Spotlight! Meet Cadence!

Cadence Rowe started ballet when she was 8 and has been in love with dance ever since. She joined the Dance Academy’s company in 2022, and this is her fourth and final year performing with them. She will be graduating with honors from Blue Ridge High School and plans to attend Arizona State University to double-major in Criminology and Dance.

I’m Paige Adams, I’ve been dancing for 15 years. My future plans are to continue in the dance field by teaching, I also plan to become a Pilates instructor and I plan to go to school for sports medicine and physical therapy.

Senior Spotlight! Meet Riya!!!! 💗 🤩

Hi, my name is Riya Patel. I am graduating from Show Low High School, and I have been dancing for 11 years. For the past two years, I have also been a part of the Show Low Varsity Pom team. After high school, I plan to attend ASU and major in kinesiology. Dance has taught me the importance of teamwork, dedication, and staying positive even through difficult times. I am very grateful for my dance family and the teachers who have helped shape me into who I am today. I will truly miss dance after high school.

Senior Spotlight! Meet Bailee! 🤩

Bailee has been dancing since she was 5 and has been on the Show Low High School dance team for 2 years. She has taken ballet, hip-pop, modern, and jazz but overall her favorite style is jazz. After graduating from Show Low High School and Northland Pioneer Collage with her Associates in Business Entrepreneurship this spring, Bailee plans to attend Northern Arizona University in the fall to study nutrition. Her goal is to become a registered dietitian to help people reach their health and fitness goals.

Hi, my name is Shelbie Cuneo. I have been dancing at the Dance Academy for 11 years and have spent the past 8 years as a Company member. Over the last 5 years, I have also had the opportunity to assist and teach classes. In addition to my dance experience, I have proudly been a member of the Show Low High School pom team for the past 3 years, Go Cougars!

After graduation, I plan to move to Mesa to pursue my associate degree in Surgical Technology.
