2014 OTTB Mare Seeking Her Perfect Happy Hacker Home

DKs Mirage is looking for her next person — someone who wants to enjoy horses for the simple joy of it. Mirage has made it clear that while she’s talented and willing, the show horse lifestyle is not what makes her happiest. She would much rather load up for a trail ride, explore on a hunter pace, or cruise around a cross-country field than live in a demanding training program.

She has truly done a little bit of everything over the years:

* Hunter/jumpers
* Dressage
* Cross-country schooling
* Trail riding & hunter paces

While she is capable and experienced, Mirage shines brightest when she has room to breathe and enjoy her job at a slower pace. She would be best suited for an intermediate rider looking for a fun, versatile partner to hack, trail ride, and enjoy.

About Mirage:

This is an incredibly difficult decision because she is deeply loved, but she deserves a person whose goals align with the kind of life she enjoys most.

So now that I’ve finally recovered (partially) I want to give a huge shoot out to my amazing friends and family and vet staff (Dr H and Dr Van Horn) for helping save Moose this past weekend. With around the clock care over 4 days we were able to kick one of the worst gas colics I’ve ever experienced. He started with right side displacement which turned into a left side displacement. Moose and I couldn’t have done it without you all!! I can never say thank you enough. I will forever be indebted to you all. It won’t let me tag some of you but you are not forgotten in this post! Kristina and Jimmy!! Bri and Mary!! Tom and Christien!! And last but not least Kenzie!!! Sharlamane, you weren’t forgotten it dropped your tag!! I am so sorry.

Congratulations team on all of your successes at the Pinellas Park Open Schooling Show! We came home with multiple high points with 2 of our girls only separated by 1 point. It was a wild day but we all prevailed!! Super proud of everyone! Thank you Alisha for putting on another wonderful show!!

Today was an absolutely beautiful day for a horse show. I couldn’t be more proud of these two. Bri and Moose aka Captain Jack won their first HUS class together. Way to go guys! They also received a second and a third in the other classes. Here’s to the next one! Huge thanks to Jasmine and High Tide Equestrian for putting on another wonderful show!

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to let everyone know that this coming week we will be attempting to repair the automatic gate. Once the gate is up and going you will notice a Sign on the gate reminding everyone to use the Keypad.

We ask that you please wait until the Gate is fully Open to enter !! Sometimes the gate will close on its own and to prevent damage please wait until it’s open

When Exiting we have a Key pad along the fence line.
Both Codes are the same. One press will activate Gate

If you come up to the gate and it’s already open, it’s a good idea to wait until it closes so it don’t hit your car or damage the gate while you enter.

If you don’t know the code please ask and we will let you know.

Exceptional medium (13.1) Welsh pony available for ⛵️ or L. This mare is a true walk/trot extraordinaire and has happily jumped up to 2’3 with a handy kid in our program

She is the ultimate teacher pony—will pack around lesson kids, step into the show ring with absolutely zero prep, and confidently take you down the trail through the city one day, then come out and win the blues the next.

Quiet, reliable, and incredibly versatile, she has sadly been outgrown by our lesson kids, making this a wonderful opportunity for the next lucky rider.

Does require light maintenance annually. Barefoot! Stands well fo vet and farrier.
