Want to help your child progress between lessons? 🏊‍♀️💦

You don’t have to teach a formal swim lesson at home. Simply spending positive, relaxed time in the water can make a big difference.

Let them play. Splash. Kick. Blow bubbles. Practice getting water on their face. Get comfortable.

Those little moments between lessons give your child more opportunities to build confidence and familiarity with the water.

Lessons are only part of learning! 💙

“Will my child be swimming by the end of the 4 weeks?”

I get this question all the time, and the honest answer is… maybe! 😊

Every child comes into lessons with a different starting point, personality, comfort level, and amount of previous water exposure. Some children make huge strides in their first session, while others need more time to build the skills and confidence they need.

Eight lessons can create a LOT of progress, but there’s no magic number that guarantees a child will be swimming independently.

Progress isn’t a deadline. 💙

From barely leaving the steps… to putting his face in the water in just five lessons. 💙

Every child learns at their own pace, and for some, the biggest hurdle isn’t learning a skill, it’s rebuilding confidence.

Watching Roman grow more comfortable in the water each lesson has been such a rewarding experience. It’s proof that with patience, encouragement, and trust, even the biggest fears can become incredible milestones. 🦈💦
