The Veteran Golfers Association is dedicated to enriching the lives of Veterans and their family members through the camaraderie and sportsmanship of golf.

The VGA is dedicated to enriching the lives of Veterans and their family members through the camaraderie and sportsmanship of golf. Annually, the VGA hosts more than 450 local tournaments across the country, culminating in a VGA National Championship each fall.

⭐️⭐️⭐️Course Update⭐️⭐️⭐️

Woods Hole Golf Club on Tuesday October 20 is filling up fast. This beautiful private track with scenic views of Buzzard Bay has had tremendous interest despite only open for registration for a few days.
We are capped at 40 spots, so do not put off registering if you’re planning on attending.
If we do fill up please get in the wait list we usually work through that list.

🚨🚨🚨🚨The 2027 VGA Golf Season opens today 🚨🚨🚨🚨
Now that the new season has begun , registration is now open for our 3 fall events.
📆 First event is October 20 at Woods Hole Golf Club in Woods Hole,Ma. This is a fantastic private course with scenic views along Buzzards Bay on Cape Cod. We have 40 spots.
📆 Second event New England CC in Bellingham, Ma on Saturday October 31. Halloween costumes are optional. We have only 20 spots
📆 Last scheduled for 2027 Highfields Golf and CC in Grafton Ma. This event is on Veteran’s Day November 11. Thanks to the generosity of Highfields the greens fee have been donate. The only change for members is the cart fee. We have 40 spots for this event

The 2026 VGA season will be ending tomorrow. This was by all accounts a successful year for the Massachusetts chapter. We increased membership and players per event.
We are hard at work on the 2027 schedule. We will have our usual member favorites as we work in new courses for us to experience.
Our Fall schedule so far:
Oct 20 Woods Hole , Falmouth
Oct 31 New England CC , Bellingham ( costumes optional)
Nov 11(Veterans Day) Highlands Golf and CC , Grafton.. the Green fees are free only charge is for cart.
It’s never too early to get those 3 events in for post season eligibility.

The 2026 season maybe over but we are hard at work on the 2027 calendar . September 1 starts the 2027 season.
We just secured a return visit to New England Country Club in Bellingham,Ma.
The date will be Sat Oct 31 with tee times beginning at 12pm. We only have 20 spots due to sunsetting around 5:30pm.
It’s never to early to get those 3 events out of the way and become post season eligible.
Other events on our Fall Golf schedule
Woods Hole in Falmouth (Private course) Wednesday Oct 20
Highfields Golf and CC in Grafton. On Veterans Day November 11. Our members Green fees have been taken care of by course, just pay cart fee.
These events will be open to register after Sept 1 once the new season begins.

The 2026 season is a wrap. We finished out season out on a high note.
The city of Springfield rolled out the red carpet for VGA Massachusetts with back to back events to their Municipals. First up on Saturday was Veterans Golf Course. This was our second visit and once again, this hidden gem did not disappoint.
Next up was Sunday’s first time visit to Franconia GC . Despite the rain for the front nine, the sun eventually came out. The course was fantastic, very challenging yet playable. We will be back !!

🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸New Course alert🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks to the generosity of Highfields Golf and Country Club in Grafton,Ma we are scheduling an event on Veterans Day and the greens fees will be FREE!!! Our members will only have to pay for the carts.
The field will be limited to 40 players. Since this event will be part of the 2027 season, registration will not be open until September.

🚨🚨🚨1 opening remaining for Saturday’s visit to Veterans Golf Course in Springfield , Ma. You can go to the Mass events page and register for a chance to play this Municipal that was a member favorite last season.
🚨🚨🚨🚨We also have 1 opening for Sunday Aug 23 trip to the sister course Franconia GC in Springfield.

Come out to Western Mass and help us end our 2026 season on a high note

A week ago VGA Massachusetts visited Hopkinton Country Club. This place lived up to the hype!! Greens were great and the course gave all our members a challenge.
The staff at HCC were fantastic. We will be putting this place in our regular rotation. We are in process of trying to luck it up for our 2027 State Championship. Stayed tuned for more
