The VGA is dedicated to enriching the lives of Veterans and their family members through the camaraderie and sportsmanship of golf. Annually, the VGA hosts more than 450 local tournaments across the country, culminating in a VGA National Championship each fall.

Cape Cod events closing soon
Our two day event on Cape Cod June 19-20 are closing tomorrow. We have both Dennis’ courses , the Highlands and Pines. Two great tracks in the Mid Cape area.
This is a great way to get in events for your post season eligibility and to play these courses.

Back by popular demand we have added George Wright GC in Boston,Ma. This historic municipal is on everyone’s must play list in Massachusetts.
We will be returning to George Wright on Tuesday July 14. This will be a chance to get your third event for State Championship eligibility. Registration for State closes in July 20. So, you can get one more in before then .
As always sign up now, our events are filling up quickly and we only have 40 slots.

📆 VGA Mass will be holding our 2026 State Championship on Monday July 27 at one of the areas best public golf courses Crumpin Fox in Bernardston,Ma
Registration will open for eligible MA members on June 8th
Registration will open for all North Region members on July 7th
Registration opens for VGA members nationwide on July 13.
Remember to be eligible to register you must have 3 events played in the 2026 season(started Sept 1 ) events played in any VGA event nationwide will count to that total.

You cannot find a ranking of courses in Massachusetts with out Crumpin-Fox high on that list.

Congratulations to all the golfers at this year’s AFC.
Way to go Coast Guard Team. Special shout out to USCG Team Captain Tim Grover. We all know Tim as Assistant State Director in NH and former State Director for VT and for one brief shining moment Mass State Director.

VGA Massachusetts held back to back events On May 17 and 18
First up was Acushnet River Valley. We had 37 players. The course was in great condition and we had our first day with most players wearing shorts. There were a lot of legs seeing the sun in over 6 months.

This is a great course in South Eastern Massachusetts. We played this track last year and was a fantastic time.

This hidden gem is a favorite of the locals. Our visit last year confirmed those reviews.
Weather for Sunday …Mid 70s!!!!!
