Already standing tall as Arizona’s only Hardrock 100 qualifier, this beast of a point-to-point journey through the rugged Mogollon Rim just added another badge of honor to its name.

From the pine-lined streets of Pine, Arizona, this grassroots classic captures everything we love about trail running — small-town grit, big mountain magic, and the kind of soul-shaking challenge that changes you forever. 🏔️

Both point-to-point courses carve their way through the rugged Mogollon Rim — with steep, relentless climbs, technical descents, and sweeping views from the largest contiguous Ponderosa Pine forest in the world. The 100 miler stacks up 17,000+ ft of gain and is Arizona’s only Hardrock 100 qualifier.

⚠️ Travel Update for Race Morning ⚠️

AZ-87 is currently closed in both directions between Pine and Payson due to an accident. Our HAM Radio team is on site monitoring and keeping us updated.

Please know: we do not want you to stress. If this closure causes delays in getting to the start, we will hold the race start as needed. Your safety on the way here is our top priority.
