Already standing tall as Arizona’s only Hardrock 100 qualifier, this beast of a point-to-point journey through the rugged Mogollon Rim just added another badge of honor to its name.

From the pine-lined streets of Pine, Arizona, this grassroots classic captures everything we love about trail running — small-town grit, big mountain magic, and the kind of soul-shaking challenge that changes you forever. 🏔️

Both point-to-point courses carve their way through the rugged Mogollon Rim — with steep, relentless climbs, technical descents, and sweeping views from the largest contiguous Ponderosa Pine forest in the world. The 100 miler stacks up 17,000+ ft of gain and is Arizona’s only Hardrock 100 qualifier.

Race morning: an elk appears from the dark. Impact. His car bursts into flames. The highway is shut down. Gear lost to the fire. The start is delayed. The story spreads like wildfire through the mountains.
