Pooping your way to everlasting glory is now sponsored by SkyBridge Station and The Brick.
The winner will get a free dinner and desert to make sure that they are fully prepared on their quest for glory!

Looking for fame on your newest 5.12 proj? Throw in the towel, because a truly classic, unsent line is waiting. No approach, freshly developed, stays dry in a downpour, it even has a nice sit down rest...this is the mega rig of your dreams. Now you're probably saying, how could I ever pass this up?? Exactly.

If you want your name to live forever in the annuls of Red River Gorge history, look no further than this one-time opportunity. Not only will the winner get the chance to send the pit toilet before any other mortal being, but they will be documented on the walls of the sacred toilet itself.

"The p**p of (insert name here) courageously achieved the First Descent of this pit toilet in the oppressive summer heat and humidity of 2021"

Don't hold it in, raffle tickets for a chance at the epic First Descent of the BRRP pit toilet are on sale now...

Please use extra caution if you plan on climbing in the Gorge this weekend.

We would like to emphasize that climbing in the Red right now should be done carefully and with a small impact. Search and rescue teams, paramedics, and other authorities have been working hard and are being utilized by the flood victims. We would really like to avoid having them distracted by accidents involving visitors. If you do decide to come, please exercise an abundance of caution.

If you are wanting to help, we have information about donations and supplies on our page that will answer those questions in detail and I’m sure the local community will be appreciative of efforts.

There is a GoFundMe set up to help and that is a very low impact way to make a huge difference:

At this time, Miller Fork remains inaccessible, PMRP and BRRP are in better condition, with the exception of the short road section into the Flat Holler parking lot.

Please be cognizant of further damaging the trails and roads, the ground is still very saturated with water.

Our friends over at Muir Valley have reported that they are totally open and will be donating their parking fee this weekend to help relief efforts. They are also serving as a collection point for donated goods.

Thank you,
RRGCC

In an effort to support our community, Muir Valley will donating all proceeds from parking on Saturday and Sunday (3/6 & 3/7) to flooding relief efforts. We will also be collecting donation items to bring to Lee County High School. Items include bottled water, non perishable food, cleaning products, and personal hygiene items. An extensive list of needs can be found at Wolfe County Extension Office’s page. Thank you!

One of our prior guides makes climbing history. I remember taking Lor to Oberon, just a 5.10, and flailing. Now Lor is one of the best trad climbers in the world! And as a sheltered eastern Kentucky boy, Lor also taught me a lot about gender and self identity and judgement. We love this person! Keep on crushing climbing and in life!

Last week, Lor Sabourin sent East Coast Fist Bump (5.14a) in Sedona, Arizona, becoming the first gender neutral climber to redpoing a 5.14 route on traditional gear.
