Please use extra caution if you plan on climbing in the Gorge this weekend.
We would like to emphasize that climbing in the Red right now should be done carefully and with a small impact. Search and rescue teams, paramedics, and other authorities have been working hard and are being utilized by the flood victims. We would really like to avoid having them distracted by accidents involving visitors. If you do decide to come, please exercise an abundance of caution.
If you are wanting to help, we have information about donations and supplies on our page that will answer those questions in detail and I’m sure the local community will be appreciative of efforts.
There is a GoFundMe set up to help and that is a very low impact way to make a huge difference:

At this time, Miller Fork remains inaccessible, PMRP and BRRP are in better condition, with the exception of the short road section into the Flat Holler parking lot.
Please be cognizant of further damaging the trails and roads, the ground is still very saturated with water.
Our friends over at Muir Valley have reported that they are totally open and will be donating their parking fee this weekend to help relief efforts. They are also serving as a collection point for donated goods.
Thank you,
