I've gone a week with hardly any sugar and no baked treats. This morning was the first time in a long time that I actually woke up feeling refreshed!

I've been working my day job at the bank and then for the past two years, our team has been developing a bullying prevention curriculum during the evening and weekends.

Basically I have been working two full time jobs for two years and it has taken a toll on my ability to exercise and stay fit. I've been gradually exercising again the past couple of weeks though and I'm determined to be healthier.

Hopefully, now that we are completing our curriculum pilot program soon, I will be able to slow down this crazy pace by time I turn 60 in September.

Wishing all of you out there to have a healthy 2025 and no matter what you did today, tomorrow is another day!

If able, choose the parking spot that forces you to have to walk farther. It’s a form of exercise and counts towards improving your health!

Just completed a mile walk outdoors. Fresh air and exercise, even in small increments, is very important.

Eat whatever you want, but in moderation!

Stay as active as you can and move around!

Did my 3 mile loop this morning! Jog-walked while the air is still cool. Kept hydrated.
Be sure to get your workouts in before it gets hot and drink water. Electrolytes are good too!

Three days ago I did 10 push-ups on my toes and another 10 on my knees. That's all I could do since I haven't been working out for a while.
But today I did 12 on my toes and another 13 on my knees. PROGRESS!!
