Everyone always thinks deeper is better when it comes to squats… but that depends on the goal 👀
Larry’s goal? To jump higher and dunk 🏀🔥
That’s exactly why I have him doing HEAVY quarter squats.
At 13, Larry has been putting in the work in our Teen Speed & Strength class, and now we’re getting more specific with his training. Quarter squats allow him to:
✔️ Build strength in the exact range he uses to jump
✔️ Produce more force, faster (hello explosiveness 💥)
✔️ Improve speed and power without slowing him down
Full squats are great, but for athletes chasing vertical and quickness, training that top range is a game changer.
