🇺🇸 NEVER FORGET — SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 🇺🇸
Today is one of those days that I will never forget.
I was just 6 years old, about a month away from turning 7, but I still remember the fear, confusion, and trauma of that day. Some memories never leave you, and September 11th is one of them.
That day changed our country, and it changed the course of my life. It was one of the reasons I made the decision to join the United States Air Force at just 17 years old. I wanted to serve my country and be part of something bigger than myself.
Here at Smoke Wagon, service runs deep. We are a family that comes from a long line of men and women who have dedicated their lives to serving this country — in the military, in law enforcement, and in our communities. That tradition of service is something we are incredibly proud of.
Today, we remember the innocent lives lost. We remember the first responders who ran toward the danger while others were running away. We remember the military members who answered the call and those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the years that followed. B
We honor them. We remember them. We will never forget them.
