Check out the massive shellcracker Chris pulled out of the bed! We were testing out different setups—drop-shot vs. classic cork—to see which one could entice the big ones. Did the drop-shot hold up, or did the old-school way win again?

She came along to keep me company. Nobody told the swamp. My wife Anna just pulled this 2lb giant crappie out of a cypress swamp — on a cricket — while we were targeting bream. That splash you hear at the beginning is her fighting this monster on ultralight tackle. 40 years of fishing and I have never seen anything like this morning. Full video on YouTube. Link in bio.

5 months until deer season and this buck has already been living rent-free in my head! 🦌 Caught some incredible footage of him still growing out his velvet — look at those antlers already! God doesn't miss when He creates something like this. Romans 1:20.

3 days in the Indiana woods. Thunderstorms on day one. A washout on day two. One gobble at 6 PM on the last evening.
That's all it took — one gobble, one homemade trumpet call built by a cabinet maker friend, and 20 minutes later this bird was on the ground. 🦃
