At the end of the year, one award will go to the top person in each category. This means that if you want to be competitive, you should settle on one category (ie RP/A, RM4) and stay there. There will also be a trophy for the one driver who accumulated the most points over the course of the year. Here's where it gets interesting. Simply put:
All dirt-course rallycrosses run by WAG
Regional SCCA TS
D Badger Burrow Rally
Point schedule:
1st place= 5 points
2nd place= 4 points
3rd place= 3 points
4th place and beyond= 1 point if at least one run in each heat is completed for the race
Bonus points will be awarded for participants in the Badger Burrow TSD road rally based on the same placement as rallycross in overall standings. 1 point will be awarded if a competitor finishes the event in 4th place and beyond. One award for each category:
RS/A -- Rally Stock, AWD
RS/F -- Rally Stock, FWD
RS/R -- Rally Stock, RWD
RP/A -- Rally Prepared, AWD
RP/F -- Rally Prepared, FWD
RP/R -- Rally Prepared, RWD
RM2 -- Rally Modified, 2WD
RM4 -- Rally Modified, 4WD
Our stance on cheating is simple. If we find out you cheat, you're out of the points race for the year. Rules are rules. If you show up with a prepared car that's unusually fast, expect someone to call BS...get the idea? We want this to be a race of Ladies and Gentlemen not NASCAR. Since we're paying for this, that's how it works.
