Looking to bounce back

The Arkansas Volts took the field last night and held their own against a very good Rebels team.

While our offense was on the quieter side, our defense was the star of the show 🤩

The scoreboard may have been toppled against us, but our girls did not allow that to bring down their energy or determination ⚡️💪

We had hard hit line drives that were caught, several put outs, and some pretty stellar pitching!

The Volts were full of energy, knocking down several well-struck balls in the infield and executing relays from the outfield when the other team got ahold of them. We had outfielders having their infielders backs (and vice versa) and out there making play calls. I call that being leaders!

Despite what the score said, that game was FULL of wins in our book! 💜💚

Ready to bring that same energy to the second half of Benton Fall season!

🔥🥎 COACH APRIL & THE BREW CREW GOT IT DONE!!! 🥎🔥
Huge congratulations to Coach April and her co-ed team, Brew Crew, for battling through an ALL-NIGHTER this weekend at the Strike Out Leukemia Overnight Tournament and bringing home 2ND PLACE! 🥈🏆
And Coach April was absolutely DROPPING BOMBS! 💣💣💣💣 She crushed FOUR OVER-THE-FENCE HOME RUNS during the tournament! Talk about showing up and showing OUT!
Playing through the night takes grit, energy, and a whole lot of determination—and Brew Crew brought ALL of it! 💪🥎

Screaming HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our girl Remi! One of the hardest working players you’ll ever meet. She’s the youngest on the team but you’d never know it! She’s a leader behind the plate, she’s filled with determination, and impossible to get off the field (in the best way possible, she loves putting in the work)! Hope your day is full of your favorite things, Rem!
