At Mega Sports Camp this year our campers were “on mission” to help support a local non-profit The Larry Prout Jr Courage Fund. Larry Prout has had 119 surgeries in his life, living most of his life in and out of Mott's Children's Hospital. They created the fund to help other families at Mott's. To add a little competition, we had a "Change Challenge". Kids and their families brought in change (or dollars!) to put in the coaches box of who they would like to see pie’d in the face by Mega. The challenge brought in over $915 and resulted in Soccer Coach Nancy Mihinnick being pie’d in the face!
You can also donate directly through the website link or participate in fundraising events such as the fourth annual 2026 RUN WITH THE BEAR 5k-1mile all-inclusive fun-run. This event is taking place at Pinckney High School tomorrow July 25! Here is the direct link for race details and sign-up!
