We could have used this boat yesterday! 😀 ⛈
What an ending to a fabulous week that began with some of the best weather we have ever had! We are so thankful for the all the campers we got to play, learn and grow with this week!

WE ALSO WANT THANK OUR ARMY OF VOLUNTEERS! Each one of you are critical to helping us pull this off! Our rally, head and huddle coaches are very visible of course, but many more are involved behind the scenes putting in hours moving and maintaining equipment, decorating, planning and preparing snacks, etc.. that makes the whole camp run smoothly.
For all you you do before, during and even after camp week...
THANK YOU!!!! 🥰

Many of us in the Pinckney Community know this legendary teacher who loves on students during the school days at Navigator but it is a legendary bible-story-teller by night! She has a knack for helping kids to apply the Bible to their own lives and helping them to understand how dearly loved they are by the most legendary hero of all Jesus!

Today is the last day to preregister your kid(s) for MEGA Sports Camp! Make checking in a breeze the first night by being preregistered. If shirts are still available we will set one aside for your child as well.

Been thinking about signing your child up for MEGA Sports Camp but still have questions? MSC is just a few days away so let’s address the FAQ’s!

IS MY CHILD OLD ENOUGH?
If your child is ENTERING 2nd grade this fall they are old enough for MSC!

CAN I STILL PREREGISTER MY CHILD?
Yes! Preregistration is open through midnight Friday July 18. This will streamline checking in that first night. https://peoplespinckney.com/ministriesevents/mega-sports-camp

WHAT IF I MISS PREREGISTRATION OR MY CHILD’S FRIEND WANTS TO JOIN LAST MINUTE? We have walk-in registration available every night. Doors open at 5:30p on Monday!

CAN MY CHILD’S FRIEND BE IN THEIR SAME GROUP?
Yes, if they are in the same age/grade group. Make this request in the comments when registering and we will make sure they get put into the same small group.

CAN MY CHILD STILL PARTICIPATE EVEN IF THEY CANNOT ATTEND EVERY NIGHT?
Yes!

ARE PARENTS ABLE TO STAY AND WATCH?
Yes! Parents are encouraged to hang out as much as they like! (You might want a blanket or chair if watching the sport sessions). We love when parents join us for the opening and closing rallies!

DOES MY CHILD NEED THEIR OWN SPORTS EQUIPMENT?
No. We have plenty. Kids should dress as if they are going to gym class. Tennis shoes please! A water bottle with their name on it is encouraged to cut down on paper cups and to make sure they get enough to drink.

Did you know there are scholarships available for MEGA Sport Camp? At Peoples Church we would never turn a child away due to financial hardship! While we do charge a nominal fee to assist our own budget in making camp happen, we do not want that to keep any child from attending camp. Also, if you have multiple children and can pay for one or some but need a scholarship for another you can do that too! Basically a pay-what-you-are able system.

You also have the option to donate a a scholarship for another child. 🙂

At MEGA Sports Camp our coaches are passionate about their sport and kids! Both Nancy Minhinnick (soccer)and Jordan Bentley (football) have lots of experience coaching kids of different ages outside of camp have coached multiple years at MSC. They also know how to make it fun for kids of all skill levels!
