Pirates finished up pool play at the Mid Summer Classic today 2-0. Outscoring their opponents 28-0. On to bracket play tomorrow to close out this amazing season.

Anna - Thanks for helping us out this weekend, we are injury prone right now so having you with us to help is amazing. Congratulations on your MVP Ribbon and being awarded the golden ball today.

Taylor- Congratulations on your MVP Ribbon as well, you played awesome today!

Macy - Also a Golden Ball Winner, great work Macy! You were a beast out there today!

Congratulations Ladies! I truly love coaching these girls and I am going to miss them so much after tomorrow. I wish only the best for them all! But first let's win the day and leave it all on the field tomorrow, Let's Go Pirates!!

INABILITY TO LOCATE comes from:

1) lack of muscle memory (not enough reps)

2) mechanical issues / timing issues (learning poor technique)

3) little to no body awareness (not stressing self-correction)

4) lack of dedication to mastery (not focusing on the small things)

5) all of the above which equals lack of confidence

1) values the importance of patience and getting it right before moving on to something new

2) knows up to date and healthy mechanics

3) asks questions about how a pitch felt

4) pays attention to small details and encourages a pitch to do so as well

5) brings understanding and encouragement to every conversation with your pitcher

Pirates played their hearts out in Tennessee at the SE Music City National Championship. Going up against amazing talent with the likes of Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee and Oklahoma the girls ended the tournament with a 3-2 record. We couldn't be more proud of all they accomplished and although the weather ended the tournament early we are excited about the opportunities and adversity they worked through this week to make them stronger athletes and better humans.
