If you're staying around Santa Fe, Taos, or Albuquerque and want to do a river trip on the Rio Grande, this is the best outfit to take you. Billy and Ben have decades of experience on the river (unlike the guides from newer outfits who might have 2 years of experience or less). We did a trip down the race course with 4 adults and 6 kids aged 5 to 17 and had a great time! I had previously done both the race course and box canyon with both good and bad guides, and these guys are among the very best. Their attention to safety is excellent - this was the first time for the kids, and they made sure they knew what to do and what to expect. They know the river, the history, the geology, the wildlife, and the landscape and share their knowledge on the trip. We had a great time and will definitely go with Big River Raft Trips again!

Big River Trip Tomorrow wahoo! Yes we are going rafting in December and loving it. You stay warm and dry as a master boat rower expertly rows you down the racecourse section of the Rio Grande. The weather has been great and we are rafting daily Wahoo and wahoo some more... Remember to just say WAHOO!
