🎉 The Wait Is Over! 🎉

After a very long wait and a lot of hard work, the brand-new pickleball courts at Sugar Creek Country Club are officially open and ready for action! 🏓

We know trying something new can sometimes feel a little intimidating, so we'd like to help take away that hesitation. We're looking to gauge interest in a Pickleball Orientation Class designed for beginners and anyone wanting to learn the basics in a fun, relaxed environment.

The best part? You do NOT have to be a member to participate in the class!

Our hope is that new faces will come out, discover everything Sugar Creek has to offer, fall in love with our facility and friendly atmosphere, and become part of our growing community.

Yesterday was such a big day that it took us over 24 hours to recover enough to make this post!

What an incredible turnout for the Sugar Creek Country Club 2-Gal Tournament! Twenty-one teams of ladies beat the rain and completed all 18 holes, enjoying a day filled with fun, friendship, and some outstanding golf. Following play, everyone enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared and served by the men of Sugar Creek.

Cash prizes were awarded in three flights, with several ties that required handicap calculations to determine the winners—proof that some excellent golf was played throughout the day!

In addition to our Flight Winners, we also awarded three Closest to the Pin prizes. One of those prizes, $100, was generously sponsored by Gamble-Bedwell Printing of Kennett, Missouri. Congratulations to our Closest to the Pin winners:

To conclude a memorable day, we were honored to have Ms. Betty Russell join us. In a special surprise presentation, the Ladies of Sugar Creek announced that the Annual 2-Gal Tournament will now be known as the Betty Russell Classic in recognition of her years of support, friendship, and contributions to ladies golf at Sugar Creek.
