✨ THE BIG SHOW ✨

What a great way to close out Nationals... and an even better way to close out this chapter for our seniors!

Earlier this week, our Nova Team was selected to return to the stage for The Big Show today, where a handful of the highest scoring group routines from the entire week are invited back to perform one final time.

Watching these dancers that have been together for so long take the stage together one very last time was an emotional rollercoaster.

Seniors… thank you for the years you've poured into EDC and your team! Thank you for leading with your hearts, for setting the example, for lifting up the dancers behind you, and for leaving this team better than you found it!

You've all spent years growing together, encouraging one another, celebrating victories, working through challenges, and creating friendships that will last long after competition season is over. To have your final performance together be on The Big Show stage feels like such a fitting ending to an incredible journey!

Wrapping it all up as Regional Champions, National Champions, and now The Big Show Champions!

We are so proud of every single one of you! Congratulations, Nova!

One more Nationals week in the books... and what a week it was! ❤️🖤💛

The trophies, awards, and placements will always be exciting, but they'll never be the biggest part of why we all do this.

This week was about watching our dancers step onto the stage with confidence, push themselves outside their comfort zones, support one another through every high and low, celebrate each other's successes, and create memories they'll carry with them long after the music ends.

To our dancers: thank you for trusting us, working so hard all season long, and leaving a little piece of your heart on each stage every time you performed! We could not be more proud of the way you represented EDC this week… with talent, kindness, sportsmanship, and heart.

To our dance families: thank you for every mile driven, every early morning, every quick change, every meal eaten on the road, every encouraging hug, and every sacrifice you make so your dancers can chase their dreams. We truly couldn't do this without you!

As we all prepare to head home, our hearts are definitely full. This chapter may be over, but we're already so excited for what's next.

What a weekend for our EDC Competition Team. ❤️🖤💛

We are so incredibly proud of our dancers and everything they accomplished on stage this weekend… but even more proud of who they were off of the stage.

Our younger dancers kicked off the weekend with most of them navigating only their second competition EVER, and handled unexpected changes, tight spaces, and fast moving schedules with so much patience, positivity, and grace. They still went out and delivered some of their strongest performances of the season yet, and that is something to celebrate in a BIG way!

Our older dancers came in today and absolutely locked in… 21 routines in 3.5 hours, quick changes that felt nearly impossible, and yet they stayed focused, prepared, and performed at such a high level. Watching almost the entire team lined up at the doors before the venue even opened, ready to go, said everything about their work ethic and commitment.

And our staff… we are endlessly grateful. The way our instructors lead, support, and push these dancers with positivity, respect, and care does not go unnoticed. After a full weekend in that environment, it was a powerful reminder of just how special the culture of EDC truly is.

Yes, we had an incredible weekend competitively:
- 19 Overall Placements
- 5 Platinum Plus Adjudications
- 20 Platinum Adjudications
- 4 High Gold Adjudications
- 2 Judges Choice Awards
- 1 Excellence in Choreography Award (Miss Beth Anne 👏)
- 1 Excellence in Entertainment Award (Miss Taylor 👏)
- 1 Battle of the Seas Cruise Scholarship
- 1 Golden Ticket
- 1 Regional Champion Award

But more than the awards, adjudications, pins, medals, and trophies… we are most proud of the resilience, teamwork, accountability, growth, and heart that our dancers showed all weekend long.

That is what truly defines this team. That is what makes EDC special.
