🚴 Adam Cupito with Bird Conservancy of the Rockies and Lisa Baril with Northern Great Plains Joint Venture attended the Grassland Gravel Adventure Ride, educating the 62 racers and their supporters on the importance of grasslands as part of the South Dakota Grasslands Initiative's public education efforts.

🌾 A special feature of their booth was the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists display. This engaging, easy-to-set-up, two-sided exhibit showcases the value of grasslands both in South Dakota and around the world.

📚 The display is currently located in Wall and is available for organizations, schools, libraries, events, and community groups to check out for educational use.

3 route distances: 31, 53 or 71 miles. The surfaces on all routes include packed and loose gravel, rugged doubletrack across the prairie, and bare dirt.

Registration includes stocked aid stations, post-ride meal, event swag, and prizes for the top 3 in each category.​​
