Attention agricultural producers, landowners, and conservationists!

The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced today the 2026 enrollment periods for both the Continuous and General Conservation Reserve Program, marking 40 years since the program was first open for enrollment.

Offers will be accepted for Continuous CRP from February 12-March 20, 2026 and the General CRP signup will run from March 9-April 17, 2026. States with over 100,000 CRP acres expiring this year are Iowa, Washington, Illinois, and Kansas. Make sure you reach out to your local Pheasants Forever or Quail Forever biologist or visit the Habitat Help Desk at the 2026 National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic to learn more about CRP and the signup process.

As many hunts as I’m a part of and see some incredible animals taken, there is nothing more special then spending times in the field with my kids! Gatlin put the 22 creed to work. If there is a better platform of a rifle out there I have yet to see one.

Nick comes from the east but loves the prairie ! He is a stonecold killer and one of the best hunters we have ever had here. He has become family over the years of hunting with us. Congrats my friend on another beautiful deer.
