With a broken heart, I have to announce that we are officially closed to the public. We are working with some older groups, but for the most part, CPD finished its last full year in 2019. I have no other teachers to help out this year on a full-time basis, I have a Sr and Jr in high school that I want to support in their activities more, and I have family members who may need assistance at a moment's notice.
We had an excellent 21 years! I worked with Northeast Community college as it's cheerleading and dance team coach for 3 years, was a semi-pro cheer and dance coach for 7 years, worked with Spencer Dance team for 2 years, Loup City dance and cheer for 2 years, Wayne State College for 1 year, Osmond for 3 years, Pierce for 15 years. I even taught at 2 other dance studios and choreographed for studios/high schools all over. It's been a great 21 years in Pierce. I wish we could have had that "going away" party that others get, and cried as I hugged each of my kids goodbye. Covid took that chance away from us and we just don't have the momentum to take up the flag against this fall. London will be running the Pierce dance team until Disney brings back its furloughed staff, then, I will take over, so I am not out completely yet. I truly will miss my dancers! I love my students and this is the hardest thing I have ever done. I am not a quitter. I am stronger than I feel and braver than I act, but this fall, I had to switch my priorities to support my family. They must come first. Goodbye, God Bless, and keep Dancing! Noelle
