🦅 A group of Eagles have been putting in the work and miles at Cross Country camp this summer, with regular season high school practice kicking off this morning.

It was a beautiful day at the Class 2 State Cross Country Championship at Gans Creek! Emma and Eli represented Pierce City well by giving it their all and leaving everything they had out on the course. Congrats on a great season! We are so proud of both of you and how you led this program all year long.

Emma capped off her PCHS Cross Country career with a 19:37 and 8th place all-state finish and picked up some hardware. (Peep the 100th Anniversary State Medals!)

Eli ran a strong race in a very competitive field. Making it to State your Freshman year is quite the accomplishment. He'll be back. His future is bright. Eli turned in an impressive 18:29 5K today!

Emma and Eli are headed to the Missouri Cross Country State Championships! Thanks for the send-off PCHS and PCMS! Wish them the best of luck as they represent Pierce City out on the course!

It was a beautiful day for the Class 2 District 2 Cross Country Meet in El Dorado Springs, MO on the Gene Pray Municipal Golf Course. We are proud of the effort our Eagle Runners exhibited today. They all finished strong...in an uphill sprint to the finish.

Emma Hunt is the District Champion for the second straight year punching her ticket to the State Championship at Gans Creek in Columbia on November 8th. Eli Adams also turned in a strong performance finishing 27th in an incredibly competitive field and punched his ticket to State as well. Individual results are posted below:

The Eagle Runners competed in the Southwest Conference Meet on Thursday, 10/23, in Ash Grove. Several PRs were achieved and medals collected! The Boys Varsity team is Southwest Conference CHAMPIONS! Congrats to all the runners on a fast and successful meet!
